DIY Getting Started

Follow the steps below by reading each document to understand what is required to become a Storage Provider.

Step 1 - Basic Requirements

Understand the minimum and recommended requirements to run a DIY storage provider instance.

Step 2 - Port Forwarding

You must be able to forward ports on your local network to be a Storage Provider.

Step 3 - Collateral

A Storage Provider must provide collateral, in the form of SCP, to maintain a provider instance.

Step 4 - Licensing

You must purchase at minimum a Basic license to receive data from ScPrime sources.
